A Kind of Guise

A Kind of Guise is a Munich-born label, founded in 2009 by Yasar Ceviker and Susi Streich. It has been passionate about German craftsmanship from the start, and it works with local specialist manufacturers in its homeland. Clothing is produced locally in Germany and Italy, with materials sourced from ethical producers across Europe. The clothes are easy-to-wear staples for every season: trousers, cardigans, beanies and shirts. The trousers are casually tailored and minimally detailed. The knitwear uses premium cotton or extrafine wool. Design leans contemporary with a laid-back attitude. Travel and food shape the brand too. Meals and markets inspire it, and it has started a community event series called Pappagorgia.
