Armor-Lux

Armor-Lux is a French label from Brittany, founded in 1938 by Swiss textile engineer Walter Hubacher. The name joins "armor", the sea, with "lux", the light. It is best known for the Breton stripe tee, and END. describes it as one of the last makers still committed to authentic striped pieces in the region. The company works in knitwear and has one of the finest knitting machine collections in Europe, making plain and striped jersey, rib and interlock. It has held the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label since 2010. For men, the range covers cotton shirts, heavyweight sweatshirts and fisherman knits, plus fleeces, polos, trousers and suits. The group also owns Bermudes for technical sailing clothing and Bérac Homme for knitwear.
