Bene Culture

Bene Culture is a Birmingham label that grew out of an online Depop shop selling vintage clothing. Founders Hemal, Vimal and Hasim later found a space and stocked brands like thisisneverthat, Stepney Workers Club and Drama Call. When lockdown hit, they started printing their own designs, with no formal fashion education, and local people took to them quickly. The clothes were made for themselves first, and if others liked them, even better. Today the range runs from baggy joggers, refined over years, to graphic tees and hoodies. The Birmingham store doubles as a community hub, with pop-ups, parties and music events. They work with local manufacturers nearby and spotlight other Birmingham brands. The motto is "It's all good".
