Bound

Bound is a Manchester menswear label founded in 2018 by Jake Messer, who also runs the streetwear retailer UN:IK Clothing. After four years showing other designers' work there, he decided to make clothes he would wear himself and build a community around them. The aim was to bridge the gap between contemporary wear and streetwear, without sticking to one style. Everything is fully custom cut and sew, made with small factories and premium fabrics. The range runs from jersey and knitwear yarns to denim with retro cues, plus overshirts, coats, stripe tees and corduroy trousers. Fits lean towards heritage-inspired shapes. Its strapline is "Togetherness in originality".
