Dubbleware

Dubbleware is an American workwear label that dates back to 1918, when manufacturer M Hoffman set up the first factory in his home town of Boston, Massachusetts. Farmers took to it quickly, and by the 1930s it had become the standard for workwear across America. The original range covered denim pants, hickory dungarees and chambray boiler suits, sold under the tag line "Demand the best". It was also among the first to market workwear to women as well as men. The factory closed after the Second World War, and the label has since returned. Today's pieces use selvedge denim woven on vintage shuttle looms and are cut and sewn on Union Special machines. Buttons, labels and trims take their cues from the 1930s branding. You'll find chore jackets, work shirts, trousers and denim.
