FRIEND EDITIONS

FRIEND EDITIONS is a New York-based publishing platform, founded by Oliver Shaw in 2022. It works with artists worldwide on books, zines, objects and merch, always in small runs and with a focus on independent expression. The books are the heart of it. FE128, for example, is Olivia Parker's 'To That the Sides of the Dark', a 160 page, 7x9" softcover with block foil covers, made in an edition of 250. The clothing is simple and considered. Hoodies are 460gsm 100% cotton fleece, heavy but soft with a slightly boxy fit. T-shirts and long sleeves come in brushed supima cotton jersey with single stitch finishes. Everything is printed and made in LA by ST&CO, and pre-washed to fit true to size. There's also a heavy black tote with a zip, made to mark a summer residency at Authorized Dealer Gallery.
