Gander

Gander is a Manchester label that began with one jacket. Founder Calum Gregory couldn't find the piece he wanted, so he designed it himself. That became the Peveril Jacket, a boxy shape inspired by vintage fishing gear and named after The Peveril of the Peak pub. People stopped him in town to comment on it, and the brand followed. Gregory says he has no formal training and does it for the love of it. The range now covers shirts, shorts and workwear-inspired trousers, with some versions of the Peveril. Gregory looks to old garments for details and to Manchester for names. Fabrics and craftsmanship come from China and the UK. Releases come as intentional capsules, and some act as software upgrades, bringing core styles back in new fabrics.
