Ganni

Ganni is a Copenhagen fashion house, led by Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup since 2009, when she and her partner Nicolaj Reffstrup took the label over and reshaped it. Ditte grew up loving mixing and layering, and drew on pop culture, music, vintage finds and the women around her rather than runways or archives. At the time, Scandinavian fashion seemed to mean either bohemian romance or pared-back minimalism. Ganni went for colour, playfulness and self-expression instead. The Bou Bag is named after Ditte's daughter Betty Lou, who is called Bou at home. The butterfly logo was drawn by graphic designer Lena Musmann. Ganni doesn't call itself a sustainable brand, and says it aims for transparency and doing better.
