The Great Frog

The Great Frog is a London jewellery label, founded in 1972 on Carnaby Street by Paterson Riley and Carol Lehtonen-Riley. From a small Soho workshop, they carved skulls, reapers and occult symbols into handcrafted rings, drawing on biker culture and heavy metal as a darker counterpoint to the era's ideals. Their son Reino Lehtonen-Riley now leads the brand as Creative Director and Head Designer, and each piece is still handcrafted in London. Collaborations have widened its reach, including Palace, NEIGHBORHOOD, Dr. Martens, and eyewear with Cutler and Gross. It also made an 18ct yellow gold commemorative pendant for Ozzy Osbourne.
