Hanover

Hanover is an American label founded in 2025 by Chris Black, who has spent more than a decade writing about fashion, design and culture for New York Magazine, Interview and GQ, and co-hosts the podcast How Long Gone. The range covers everyday essentials: tees, polos, oxford shirts, sweatshirts, denim and accessories. Everything is made in Los Angeles, working with local patternmakers, cutters and sewers, and nothing costs more than $300. Black's idea is that the foundation of an American wardrobe shouldn't cost what it does today, so the clothes stay wearable every day. Books, music, design and art shape the collections as much as clothing does.
