Horizn Studios makes luggage, backpacks and travel accessories, and describes itself as design and innovation driven. Launched in 2015 as a European travel brand, it has roots in German engineering, and its site says its products are engineered in Germany. In its first year it released what it calls the world's first luggage with a removable charger. Collaborations include BMW, Beats By Dre, Soho House and NASA astronaut Alyssa Carson. Sustainability is a big part of the pitch. The RE Series uses a 97% recycled polycarbonate hard shell, and Circle One has a 100% plant-based hard shell. The brand says each range goes through rigorous testing before launch. It's one to look at if you want travel gear that mixes practical tech with considered materials.
