Junya Watanabe MAN

Junya Watanabe MAN is the menswear line from Junya Watanabe, who was born in Fukushima and trained in Tokyo. He began at Comme des Garçons, became a protégé of Rei Kawakubo, and went on to launch his own collections under the Comme des Garçons umbrella. The clothes play with prints, graphics and cuts, so expect paisley, patchwork, checks and stripes across tees, shirts, hoodies and jackets. It's known for balancing function and experimentation, with daring jackets, patch-worked shirts, reimagined denim, asymmetry and unexpected fabric mixes. It was doing cross-category collaborations well before they became common, from "techno couture" to punk-leaning cuts. END also stocks its sneakers.
