Les Tien

Les Tien is a Los Angeles label that makes what it calls luxury sportswear. The name is French for "yours". Everything is made at its own factory in downtown LA, where fabrics are treated in house before being cut, sewn and garment-dyed. That process gives a soft hand feel and a properly lived-in comfort. The range is built on staple silhouettes: hoodies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, joggers and shorts. Details are practical and considered, with reinforced pressure points and hand-poured hardware. Colours lean towards rich, muted, mature tones. Courtney Ogilvie, the founder and creative director, previously ran Fit & Supply, LA Makers and the womenswear line C/CHRST. Clothing is designed to be unisex, with fits based on men's sizing, so check the sizing before you buy.
