Mastercraft Union

Mastercraft Union is a denim label built on the Japanese idea of Takumi, a lifelong devotion to craft. It was founded by Hiroyuki Yoshikawa and started with stretch selvedge denim, drawing on two decades of his expertise and his work with Kojima, Japan's denim district, and its sewing and wash houses. In 2025, American denim designer Donwan Harrell began a new chapter for the clothing, pairing Takumi's careful approach with Kojima's production. The references are vintage Americana, military dress and rugged workwear. Expect washed-down selvedge, distressed outerwear and natural fibres, with denim that feels properly worn in from the start. It's a good label to try if you like Japanese denim with an American accent.
