Palmes is a Copenhagen menswear label that comes at tennis from a slightly different angle. Nikolaj Hansson founded it after a game in the Pyrenees, and the idea is to act as a bridge into a sport that can feel closed off, with courts often behind long waiting lists and private memberships. The name comes from jeu de paume, an early form of tennis played by hand. The clothes start with court classics, then loosen them up. You'll find t-shirts, polos, shirting and trousers, with sharp graphics and subtle embroidery, and a trace of skate influence. Fabric choices are described as responsible.
