Port Tanger is an eyewear label founded in 2020 by a stylist, a photographer and Bilal Fellah. It takes its name and its starting point from Tangier, and began as an imaginative response to a poem from a travel diary set in the city. The idea is to hold on to the colours and cultures travellers see, and each frame is treated like an entry from a well-worn diary. Every pair of sunglasses is built around a one-front, curved structure meant to suit the natural contours of the face, whatever your gender. They are handmade in Japan from fine acetate, with hardware inserts and nylon lenses that give 100% UVA/UVB protection. The site offers free worldwide shipping and returns, with duties included.
