RAINS

Rains is a Danish outerwear brand that started with a simple idea: take the stiff, shiny rubber raincoat and make it contemporary. Founders Philip Lotko and Daniel Brix Hesselager built the label around lightweight rubber-coated fabrics, and the result is sleek, matte and watertight. Jackets come in short and long lengths, including the popular mac and the Fishtail parka. They are windproof, with welded seams. The collections are unisex and lean on a neo-Scandinavian look with strong urban influences. Puffer jackets, bags and accessories have since joined the range, and there is now footwear and homeware too. The brand has a headquarters in Aarhus and sells across four continents.
