Sage Nation

Sage Nation is a London studio founded in 2020 by Sage Toda-Nation, and the name of the game is a conversation between British and Japanese design. That comes from the designer's own dual Japanese-British heritage. The clothes are made with a precise approach that pairs traditional construction and material know-how with everyday utility. Trousers are where many people start. The box pleat trouser has a deep, origami-like structure, while the wool Zushi trouser is softer, with more drape and volume. Beyond that you'll find shirts, jackets, shorts and denim, along with trench and trucker archetypes reworked around fabric and proportion. Design is non-seasonal and genderless, guided by minimalism, symmetry and silhouette. Restrained, but with a clear idea behind each piece.
