Vintage Frames Company

Vintage Frames Company began in 2008 as a supplier of deadstock vintage eyewear, and its archive of frames from the 1950s to the early 2000s is billed as the largest in the world. Founder and creative director Corey Shapiro, nicknamed the "Bad Boy of Optical", has worked in the trade since the early 2000s. In 2018 the label started designing and producing its own frames, wanting to bring more personality back to optical. They are made the way eyewear was in the 1970s, from material choice to production technique, with a few present-day luxury touches added. Expect oversized shapes, bright colours and patterned details. The archive side still runs, with a weekly selection of unworn designer eyewear.
