DAIWA is best known for fishing tackle, and its clothing grows out of that. END. says the brand was founded in 1958 by Yoshio Matsui and made its name in performance fishing gear before moving into apparel with the same engineered approach. Japanese precision meets real-world use here. Expect lightweight shells, modular layers and everyday pieces built to move, breathe and work hard. The US site shows the fishing side clearly: the flagship Exist reel, now in an Exist LT version that is smaller but stronger. Its apparel range includes a D-Vec black hoodie with moss green front and woods camo back. DAIWA says it has spent over 60 years making gear for anglers.
