Wonder Looper

Wonder Looper began as a chainstitch embroidery service run from founders Bahzad Trinos and Risa Saito's home studio in Yokohama, Japan. They were stitching patterns onto generic blank t-shirts, but the shirts didn't match the quality of the embroidery. So they set out to make a better one, and the result was their double heavyweight t-shirt. Since then they have moved into sweatshirts and other knitwear, using rare fabrics from knitting mills in Japan. Stuarts London describes the pieces as made on traditional loopwheel machines at a slower pace, giving a dense, durable fabric that holds its shape and develops character with wear. Some tees use organically grown, naturally coloured FoxFibre® cotton from the USA.
