Air Jordan

Air Jordan began with the Air Jordan 1, the first signature shoe for a young Michael Jordan, made through a partnership with Nike. It was meant for basketball, but public demand grew so big that Nike ended up releasing the sneakers for everyone. Silhouettes like the Air Jordan 3 and 11 followed, with designer Tinker Hatfield leading the innovation, and the Jumpman logo took the place of the Swoosh. The brand had a real influence on streetwear culture in the 80s and 90s. Today it also makes t-shirts, hoodies and shorts, and it regularly releases collaborations with names such as Virgil Abloh, Off White and Travis Scott.
