Aspesi

Aspesi is an Italian label founded in 1969 by Alberto Aspesi, who still works closely with the company and shapes the direction of each collection. Trunk Clothiers describes it as the first word in elegantly simple, expertly constructed men's clothing and outerwear, and that sums up the appeal well. The label is known for technical, lightweight performance fabrics and muted tones, and it specialises in jackets, vests and padded shirts. Fabric is the starting point for every collection. Its own site mentions signature nylon, compact wools, flannels, treated cottons and technical knitwear, alongside recycled waterproof taffeta, ultralight ripstop, Shetland, denim, chambray and poplin.
