Begg x Co

Begg x Co designs and makes cashmere knitwear, accessories and homeware, with mills in Ayr on the west coast of Scotland and in Hawick, in the Scottish Borders. The company says its industry experience dates back to 1866, and that the collections draw on Scotland's rugged coastline and mountains set against gritty urban sprawl. It is a Certified B Corp and part of the Alex Begg Group, and says it holds to high social and animal welfare standards. Trunk Clothiers stocks its scarves, stoles and throws, and notes the soft water from the Ayrshire hills used in making them. There is also a London shop in Burlington Arcade, Mayfair, where staff offer styling advice. Orders ship with minimal packaging as standard.
