Buzz Rickson's

Buzz Rickson's was established in 1993 and is based in Japan. The name comes from the character Steve McQueen played in the 1961 film The War Lover. The label is recognised as one of the world's high-end makers of reproduction vintage flight jackets, and it is well known for recreating rare mid-century military clothing with close attention to historical accuracy and detail. Traditional, time-intensive manufacturing techniques sit behind that work. Its collaboration with William Gibson shows the range: an A-2 Rough Wear leather flight jacket, a U.S. Army Tropical Combat Jacket, an early model 1942 chino and a U.S. Navy A-4 watch cap, all in black.
