Chaco

Chaco was founded in 1989 by a rafting guide in Colorado, who came up with the single continuous strap design that became the Z/1. That strap wraps and buckles for a fully customised fit, built on a durable footbed with podiatrist-approved arch support. Some models pair the Z/Classic footbed with a Vibram outsole for extra grip on wet or uneven ground. The range covers hiking sandals, sport and water sandals, and flip flops, all made for time on trails, rivers and anywhere outdoors. It's a straightforward, practical label: one strap, one job, done well since the late eighties.
