Hikerdelic

Hikerdelic grew out of Proper Magazine, started by people who'd spent years writing about clothing before deciding to make their own. The brand's look mixes late-80s Acid House with the British outdoors, sitting somewhere between indoor shopping centres and country rambles. Illustrator Daren Newman helped shape a visual style built around that mash-up of rambling and raving. Early limited-edition t-shirts sold out, and Hikerdelic has since collaborated with Novesta, Barbour, Holubar and Yogi. The label is based on Park Street in Bristol, run by a team with roots in the city's music, skate and streetwear scenes.
