Metalwood Studio

Metalwood Studio makes golf clothing for people who like the look of the sport more than its dress code. Founded in 2020 by Cole Young, a designer based in LA who played Division I golf, it draws on the golf of the 1990s and early 2000s, when silhouettes were baggy, the mood was loose and nobody minded a creased polo. You'll find nostalgic graphics and a knowing, tongue-in-cheek sense of humour running through the range, which includes tees and hoodies as well as golf pieces. The label sits between golf, outdoor culture and streetwear, and the clothes are meant to work on the course and away from it. Slam City Skates stocks it too, and describes the designs as made through a skateboarding lens.
