Dickies

Dickies started in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1922, founded by C.N. Williamson and E.E. 'Colonel' Dickie. It began with bib overalls, and the bib overall, work pants and work shirts are still the signature pieces. The label made heavy-duty uniforms for the U.S. military during World War II, and it reached Europe in the 1950s, where the chinos became a bestseller. Reinforced seams, functional pockets and a neutral colour palette define the range, including the 873 and 874 trousers. Rappers in the 90s and 2000s wore it head to toe, and skaters took to the tough fabric and loose cuts. The horseshoe logo marks each piece.
