Pop Trading Company comes from Amsterdam, where skate shop veterans Peter Kolks and Ric van Rest started it in 2013. Both had worked in skate shops since 2003, and that hands-on background shapes the clothes. Expect relaxed silhouettes across knitwear, varsity jackets and everyday pieces, often carrying artwork from emerging and established creatives. The brand stays rooted in the Amsterdam skate community and backs new talent in Benelux. It has also reached beyond that world: it is reported as the first skate brand to show at Paris Fashion Week, and has collaborated with adidas, Burberry and Converse CONS.
