Brixton started in a garage in Oceanside, California, in 2004, when a group of friends set out to make products that reflected their lifestyle. The first piece was the Hooligan, a vintage-inspired newsboy cap, and hats are still a big part of the range. You'll find beanies like the Heist and classic snapbacks, alongside t-shirts, shirts and jackets. The design approach is to take classic silhouettes and rework them for modern life, drawing on workwear worn by mariners, aviators, cowboys and labourers. Music, art and travel shape the look.
