Acid Running

Acid Running is a London running label founded in 2022 by Oliver Powe. There's tailoring in the family background: his great-grandfather founded the Hector Powe house in 1908. The brand treats running as a stoic discipline and talks about the "Pursuit of Suffering" and "Voluntary Discomfort" rather than chasing perfection. The range includes 2-in-1 shorts with integrated compression liners and pockets for gels, plus tees made from cotton sourced from climate-positive farms. The shorts use recycled polyester, and natural fibres in the knit give odour resistance without chemical coatings. Urban Industry suggests the lightweight vests and tees work as base layers on damp UK spring mornings. Acid Running says it works in limited runs only.
