Earth\Studies

Earth\Studies makes outdoor clothing with an experimental streak. The label describes its approach as "Experimental Outdoorism", and its starting point is that everything we do on Earth is an outdoor thing, not a separate place from daily life. Ideas come from landscapes, geologies and atmospheres. Colours are earth tones and natural hues, and asymmetric fabric compositions echo the texture of sweeping landscapes. Synthetic and natural materials are mixed on purpose, to show the human hand in the picture and to question what "natural" means alongside the utilitarian. There is also a waste-not thread: the brand aims to create value from what might otherwise lie dormant or be wasted. Urban Industry recently added the label to its range.
