The Quiet Life

The Quiet Life was started in 1997 by Andy Mueller, working with friends from his OhioGirl Design studio. Mueller also art directs for Girl Skateboards and its Lakai footwear line, and that skate, music and photography background runs through the brand. Described as an independent contemporary fashion lifestyle streetwear label, it makes clothing, hats and accessories, some produced in the USA, sold to a global audience. Mueller is based in Los Angeles. The label's stockists include specialist streetwear and skate shops, reflecting its roots in that scene rather than mainstream fashion retail.
