Studio Nicholson

Studio Nicholson is a London-based label founded in 2010 by Nick Wakeman, who studied Textile Design at Chelsea School of Art and had more than 20 years in the design industry behind her. It grew into a full menswear range in 2017. The clothes are known for a modular approach to the wardrobe, clean architectural lines and a fabric-first attitude. Proportions run roomy, and plenty of the menswear is deliberately oversized, boxy and voluminous. Japanese architecture, interiors and traditional menswear are big influences, alongside grunge music and 90s subculture. Expect shirts, jackets, soft knits and trousers with generous volume. There's a Japanese link in the collaborations too: a Summer 26 formal shoe made with ASICS. A Kyoto store opened in March 2026.
