Umbro

Umbro is a British sportswear label founded in Wilmslow in 1924 by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys. The name joins "um" from the family name with "bro" from brothers. It began by making football kit and supplied teams from grassroots clubs to the biggest stages, with the Double Diamond a familiar sight on pitches worldwide. Rugby jerseys followed early on. Over time the training gear, track jackets and football shirts moved from the touchline to the terraces and the street. Today Umbro still makes boots and kit, and runs collaborations under its Tailored for Umbro banner, with partners including Pikol Clothing, Slam Jam, Stine Goya and LC23.
