Berghaus

Berghaus was founded in 1966 by mountaineers Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison in the North East of England, and it has spent decades kitting out hillwalkers and climbers with technical gear. The brand was the first to use Gore-Tex in its jackets, a move that helped set the standard for waterproof outerwear, and its Bioflex back system was designed to keep rucksacks comfortable over long days on the trail. Berghaus was also the first outdoor company to use recycled materials, dating back to the 1980s, and continues to work recycled polyester and organic cotton into its ranges.
