Crockett & Jones

Crockett & Jones is a Northampton shoemaker, founded in 1879, and Trunk Clothiers calls it a veritable British institution. The shoes are Goodyear-welted and handmade in leather, with hard-wearing outsoles. Its unlined construction is meant to add flexibility, breathability and comfort. The Main Collection covers classic and contemporary shoes for men. The Boston is described as a cornerstone of that range and the quintessential penny loafer. The label also makes boots, such as the Vail, an apron Derby work boot with an all-American look, and the Hickstead 4, a Jodhpur boot rooted in English equestrian heritage. There is a range using Shell Cordovan from Horween, and a women's line of low heeled shoes that dates back to 1920.
