Dungeon Gateway is the clothing label of Richard "French" Sayer, and it started life as a zine. That zine, called DUNGEON, was built around French's artwork. It has since grown into a clothing company, which Slam City stocks today. French is a name you may already know. His style shows up in his work for Heroin, and in Witchcraft, his own hardware imprint. The whole thing is steeped in heavy metal. His linework suits the prints that go on each piece, so the artwork is the main event rather than an afterthought. If you like your clothes to carry the look of a metal record sleeve or a hand-drawn zine page, this is one to look at.
