Freewheelers & Co, written FREE WHEELERS and Company on its own site, is a Japanese apparel maker. It makes clothing rooted in real American history, taking its cues from the fabrics, details and parts found in vintage clothing. The range leans on classic American workwear and military-inspired design, with close attention to construction and traditional craftsmanship. Expect heavyweight deck and flight jackets, carefully made work shirts and classic-cut jeans. Different design eras are handled through separate sub-labels. Union Special Overalls covers denim work shirts, work coats and bib overalls, while The Vanishing West focuses on jeans modelled on styles from the 1940s and 1950s. Motor Psyclone is another sub-label, seen in a Bedford cord trouser.
