Fujito

Fujito is a Japanese menswear label started in 2002 in Fukuoka by 藤戸剛. He came to it after working at a used clothing shop in the city and at a denim jeans brand, and the label was built around jeans. The clothes are clean and contemporary, with the focus on quality materials, practical design and understated style. Silhouettes are refined and simple, letting fabric, construction and shape do the work rather than extra detailing. Fujito works with artisans and manufacturers in Kyushu, mixing traditional influences with modern design, to make versatile everyday pieces meant for long-term wear. In 2019 it added FUJITOSKATEBOARDING, a skateboarding-themed line, and it also directs the sock brand OBSCURE SOCKS with HIGHTIDE.
