Jenkem

Jenkem started as a skateboarding magazine, and it's still best known for its online writing and video. Ian Michna founded it in 2011. The site describes itself as "Skateboarding - Smut - Shenanigans", which gives you a fair idea of the tone. You'll find interviews, features, mix series and skate videos, with a good deal of humour running through them. It has also covered what pro skaters and its own contributors wear, in a piece on their 'fits.\n\nThe retailer Slam City Skates stocks a Jenkem collection and calls the label's take on skateboarding "refreshing, irreverent". They say the products echo the spirit of the magazine's output. If you like skate culture with a sense of humour, this is a friendly place to start.
