Krooked

Krooked is a skateboard label started by Mark Gonzales in 2002. Gonz's artwork had been circulating among skateboarders since it appeared on Vision boards in the late 80s, and Krooked gave his full vision a home of its own. Slam City Skates points to the videos, Gnar Gnar in particular, as putting the fun back into skateboarding when things had got a bit too serious. Guest boards, inventive cruisers and Gonzales' graphic direction keep the range interesting. The team includes Brad Cromer, Mike Anderson, Bobby Worrest and Dan Drehobl, and Sam Narvaez is another rider. Slam City Skates has also made a collaboration with the label. The latest drop, Fall 1, includes Wilson Brothers boards and new Gonzales boards.
