Lady White Co. began in 2015 with one job: the jersey T-shirt, and in particular the white one. The Los Angeles label has since widened into a broader take on American sportswear, but the starting point still shows. Its custom-knit jerseys and fleeces are made by family-owned factories within ten miles of its LA studio, and everything is made in the USA. Expect muted, soft colour palettes, subtle branding and easy, considered shapes. Think tees, sweatshirts, hoodies and long-sleeve styles that look simple on the hanger. Stockists say they turn into the pieces you reach for without thinking. The brand describes its approach as "an uncommon approach to familiar classics", shaped by its own view of American aesthetics.
