L.B.M 1911

L.B.M. 1911 is an Italian label from Lubiam, a Mantua-based maker of men's tailoring that has been going for over a hundred years. The collection began in 2005, when Giovanni Bianchi, fourth generation of the family running the company, wanted a product that moved away from formal dress while keeping its tailoring standards. The jacket is the heart of it. It has been deconstructed and lightened, and treated with garment dyeing and washes that give an old, lived-in look. The label sits between sportswear and tailoring, suited to the office and the weekend. Each piece is still made in the Bianchi family's Italian factory, and a small pin on the lapel marks it.
