Lovenskate

Lovenskate is a skateboard and apparel brand based in East London. It began in 2001 as a photocopied fanzine, and has since grown into a label making skateboards and clothing. One early description called it "a constantly evolving art project", which suits a brand that also does T-shirts, zines and collaborations, including a strapback cap with New Era. Stu Smith started it, and he has stayed as hands-on as possible. All of the boards are screened at Lovenskate HQ in London. The team includes Alex Halford, Jordan Thackeray and Lucy Adams. You can buy it at Slam City Skates. It suits anyone who likes their skate gear made close to home, with a creative streak.
