MCR

MCR, short for Manifattura Camicierie Riunite, describes itself as the smallest artisan shirt maker in the world. It was founded in the Veneto region of Italy in 1973 and began in a small old country granary. It has since moved premises but is still a small family run business. The shirts are made inside a farm on the Montello hills, in the province of Treviso, and the brand says it wants its work to respect the surrounding nature. Its newer shirt, La Regolare, is unstructured with a regular fit and a collar without removable stays, designed for weekends away. MCR says it uses local materials and wants its shirts to last for many years.
