Merrell 1TRL is the more experimental side of Merrell, an American outdoor brand that has been part of trail culture since the 1980s. End describes it as a sub-label that reworks archival hikers with modern utility, technical builds and collaborations. The shoes lean on directional textures and considered finishes you won't find on mainline Merrell. The Moab slide is a good way in, taking hiking DNA into a woven mule. Trail runners like the Agility Peak 6 sit alongside it, and the MTL Adapt comes from the Merrell Test Lab. Vibram Megagrip soles and GORE-TEX keep the outdoor credentials intact, so the shoes work in town and on a steep scramble alike.
