Niceness

Niceness is a Tokyo-based label built around a plain idea: "Just good is good." Its stated aim is quality that makes life emotionally wealthy through the products. The clothes draw on experience in both domestic and international production, and bring together carefully selected materials from Japan and abroad. There are references to artisanal techniques and cultures from countries such as Italy and India, with research, material and craft kept central. The label also works beyond clothing. A fragrance made for NICENESS EBISU, created by Toshihide Okamoto, was aged for a year before becoming a diffuser. Another project with Piczo looked at the marks of time on the Isle of Skye and on garments.
