NICHOLAS DALEY

Nicholas Daley is a London-based menswear designer who works at the meeting point of fashion, music and culture. He graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2013 and launched his own label in 2015. His clothes draw on personal history, including his Jamaican Scottish roots, and on black British and diasporic themes, often revisiting subcultural movements through a contemporary wardrobe. Each collection uses bespoke textiles and detailed finishes, made with artisan partners in the UK and beyond. His work has appeared in the V&A's Fashioning Masculinities exhibition and the National Museum of Scotland's Fashion and Style Gallery. He has also shown through the British Fashion Council's NewGen programme and reached the LVMH Prize finals in 2020.
